I’ve been a content creator for over a decade, yet few people have ever asked why I want to make this my living.
I’ve loved games for as long as I can remember. Growing up without many friends, games became a constant presence in my life. Over time, that turned into a simple goal: to make people’s days a little better.
The church I attended held a yearly event for graduating students. As part of it, someone would pray for you and ask about your plans for the future. I said I wanted to play games for a living. During the prayer, the man said, “He’s joking.” I responded, out loud, “No, I’m not.”
Some might view that as disrespectful. I see it as standing up for myself.
Even now, people still dismiss or laugh at the idea. My experience is often questioned because I don’t always have visible proof of my work. Because of that, I rarely post—when something gets no response, it feels unseen, and the effort becomes harder to justify.
Currently, I’m working on a show and several game projects.
